PREPARE FOR HURRICANE SEASON

Save yourself the hassle and frustration of putting up hurricane shutters or worse plywood! Painstaking work, long lines and wood shortages become stressful. Preparing your home or business one time makes sense. Now is the time to get effortless protection that offers style and affordability. With our large selection of designs and finishes there is no reason to endure the ugliness of shutters.  Our windows and doors are the perfect combination of function and beauty.

BUILDING CODES

As building codes have become more stringent so has the technology and testing behind impact windows. Typically made from laminated glass, impact windows undergo “missile testing” and often more rigorous measures which simulate wind pressure following the windows being struck by a high speed piece of wood. A much sturdier frame is also required for these windows, but necessary strength is determined by use and application.  We stand behind our products and our list of certifications and test ratings are your quality assurance:

Selecting Glass

Laminated Hurricane Impact Resistant Glass or insulated laminated glass?

  • Laminated Glass: Two sheets of glass bonded together with a protective interlayer used both in impact resistant windows and car windshields.

  • Insulated Laminated Glass: An extra single pane of glass added to the laminated glass and sealed. Moreexpensive but high performance. Many times required by architects and building departments.

Glass tints or LoE (Emissivity)

  • Tinted Glass is typically the most cost effective and energy efficient solution. Reduces heat and light by
    absorbing incoming solar radiation.

  • LoE glass: Coatings applied to the internal glass surface to separate heat and light energy. Summer heat is reflected back to the source while visible light comes in.

Our Frames and Hardware

  • Our windows and doors are engineered with heavy-duty aluminum frames which are up to a 100% thicker than those of competitors

  • Mechanically fastened corners
  • Corrosion resistant hardware and fasteners

Financing Available

We offer our clients PACE financing. Many people are unaware of this revolutionary new concept which stands for property assessed clean energy. This program allows for upgrades which are more energy efficient, promote water conservation, renewable energy and protection against natural disasters. PACE allows property owners to get financing based on available property equity and ability to pay. The amount financed including interest and any fees will be paid over time either through property taxes or added to a monthly mortgage payment.

Pace offers an alternative to credit financing and requires no money down for eligible home improvements. No minimum FICO score is required and eligibility is based on the equity you have in your property. In some cases the cost can be spread out up to 30 years and the first payment may qualify for deferment for a year or longer.

The PACE program provides home owners a unique opportunity to increase the security and comfort of their home while saving both energy and money over the long term.
